For those without smoke detectors or with older, less functional detectors, we maintain a supply of detectors that we are happy to come out and install.  We also maintain a supply of routinely sized batteries.  Please call the station (512/263-7390) and ask for the Shift Lieutenant to set up an appointment.   Please remember that the crew will be in-service and available for calls while they are visiting, so their arrival time and duration of stay may be somewhat unpredictable.
